This is the best pizza I've ever had! We started with the Italian salad and it was exactly as expected, great flavors and perfectly dressed. Next up was the meatballs, 3 decent sized meatballs in a bed of red sauce with fresh cheese; very delicious, tender, and a nice crispy outside. The showstopper though...
Red Wagon Pizza in Minneapolis.... The Meatball appetizers were dynamite! A half Popeye/BanhMi Pizza...Very delicious...the pork was OUTSTANDING on the BanhMi!! Amazing place...great staff as well, very friendly and informative on the menu.
Red Wagon is still amazing. I am writing an updated review because the restaurant has expanded. I'll start off my old tips. Parking is not easy. If you are lucky enough to park in their parking lot, buy a lottery ticket. It is that rare. If not, don't park on Penn Ave.
This restaurant has absolutely amazing pizza. We got the Banh Mi and a sausage and green olive. Every bite was fantastic. The pizza was so great my brother had to hug our waiter as we asked him to surprise us with the pizza he thought was best. The surprise pizza was the Banh Mi, and we were not disappointed!
