Great pizza place in Del Rey. The dough they use here has been fermented for 3 days so it's kinda like a sour dough pizza crust, definitely different. I do recommend eating it there because when you take it home, the crust can get hard and crispy. Overall a great pizza place. The apps and deserts were also well made.
We tried this place for dinner tonight and overall had a really great experience! We showed up a little after opening and had to wait about 40 minutes for a table. We sat outside which was a really great vibe. Cute picnic tables and nice background jazz music playing.
OK, I agree, one of the best pizzas in Northern VA. A friend told me about this place a couple of years ago but due to the evening operation hours only, I have just never been able to get there and had to make a special trip to knock this review down. The good. The pizza is damn good!
My husband and I have been hearing good things about Stracci’s for a while. We finally made the drive out to Alexandria for takeout over the weekend. Boy, were we not disappointed. Although we didn’t dine there, upon arrival the atmosphere was alive.
