Born and raised on NY Pizza, my wife and I happened to be in the area and I seen the sign Rocco's Brick Oven Pizza, I had a feeling it would be good but in reality it was great. I had the Grandma's Pizza, upside down Sicilian and took home a few Stromboli's.
I ordered from here when it was Mama Theresa's. Not too big of fan. When ownership changed to Rocco's not too long ago, I decided to give it a shot one day after seeing really good reviews online. Man was that a good choice!
Wanted to keep it simple tonight and order some pies, and decided to try Rocco's because of their intriguing menu. No regrets...one pie better than the next...each so flavorful and fresh. The Grandma's Pie had a thin crispy crust with a delicious red sauce. The seasoning in the meatballs on another pie was perfect.
Went in late night and ordered a grilled chicken Alfredo. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm and it was very nice to be greeted with a warm welcome into the restaurant. It was also nice to see the owner giving the community job opportunities with explaining in a well respected tone while in training.
