Absolutely phenomenal pizza. Been to NY and had several of Dave Portnoy‘s favorite pizzas. Once you go down the rabbit hole of becoming a pizza snob, you realize we just don’t have that kind of pizza here in Michigan. Now this isn’t quite the same as NY or Freddy the pizza man in Detroit but it’s delicious.
hands down the best Mediterranean in Grand Rapids 🙌🏼 yes the pizza is amazing but my favorite is the Chicken Shish Salad 🤤 all the food is SO good and the welcoming staff make it that much better. 10/10 recommend!
Day 2 at Pera Pizzeria. We are in process of moving to Grand Rapids area with my husband’s job and this is the first trip we brought our 8 y/o son. Grand Rapids Downtown felt too NOT kid friendly late afternoon and he was insistent on pizza.
I'll say this first - my previous two experiences with Pera were excellent. 5 stars, some of the best pizza I've had in Grand Rapids. But I got the doordash 50% pioneer pepperoni pizza yesterday and it was completely undercooked. The dough was gooey and just gross.
