Booking basics
Pizza caterers book by the date, not the walk-in — popular Saturdays (especially May–October) go months out, so inquire early with your date, venue, guest count, and whether you want full catering or an oven drop-off. Most will hold a date with a deposit and a signed agreement.

From the reviews
We recently had the pleasure of having Papalia’s Wood Fired Pizza, run by owner, Josh, for our at home party. It was an absolute hit! From start to finish, everything was handled with care, professionalism, and a great sense of rustic charm.
A well-oiled and delicious machine!!! Josh and his team are punctual, organized and they make awesome pizza. We usually host about 100 guests and they handle it amazingly. This was our 3rd year in a row and we're very pleased. Highly recommend Papalia's!
This pizza is a problem! I got the white sauce 3 cheese & garlic pizza and it was perfection in a box. Thin crust but so thin that it didn't support the toppings with a light chewy crust. It goes down smooth and the temptation to slam the whole pizza in a sitting is real.
Pizza was delicious and perfectly cooked. I pre-ordered and it was ready right when we arrived. There is one table near available so it was great to sit and enjoy it right when it came out of the oven. The pickle pizza was delicious but a little more wet because of pickles.
Booking Papalias Wood Fired Pizza for a wedding
Weddings come up for Papalias Wood Fired Pizza, going by their listing and hosts’ reviews, so they'll know the rhythm of the day: everyone gets hungry at once after the ceremony, then the oven settles into a steady flow of pies until the dance floor takes over. Two numbers get your quote right. First, the pizza math: caterers typically plan on roughly one 12-inch pizza for every two to three adults, and per-person packages usually already bake that in — just be honest about your headcount, including kids and vendors. Second, the serving rate: a mobile oven cooks pies a couple at a time, so ask how many ovens and cooks they bring at your guest count and how long full service takes — that's the difference between a steady buffet and a hungry line during toasts. If anyone at the table is gluten-free or vegan, say so at the first email so the right dough travels with them.
