The crust: perfection. Everything else: perfection. I would say best pizza in town, but I think its better than that: best food in town! I am so enthusiastic about this pizza food truck that I would wear a hat or shirt with "la dolce vita pizza rules!" if they sold one. I have totaled 8 pizzas so far in just about 2.
I've been making pizzas at home for a few years now and we've always said mine were better than local take-out options. Until I tried a pizza from these folks one day at WECO Beer garden in West Columbia. It was perfect. Crispy wood-fired oven crust, not overloaded, just the right amount of toppings, Italian style.
La dolce pizza is one of the few pizzas that I think about and crave. I had their vegetana, margherite, and meat lovers. Their crust is soft and chewy which is great with a side of marinara. They usually put plenty of meat, cheese, and sauce.
Where do I begin! This is the best pizza I have had in quite a while. You can taste the care that goes into their craft in every bite and the ingredients are top notch. This isn’t your run of the mill pizza joint. The staff are so kind and make sure to go above and beyond with their service.
