From the reviews
Decent food, sloppy service, and a dark interior. We visited Il Forno a Legna for a family lunch in May 2025, choosing it based on strong reviews but it fell short of expectations. We ordered a couple of salads, meatballs and wings for appetizers, two large pies - Napoli and Rustica - and one Shrimp Parmigiana.
Ordered three brick oven pizza. First was plain my wife liked it, 2nd was margarita which was very good and third was the tri color with pesto, vodka and tomatoes which we really didn't like. We sat outside on a beautiful day. Music was good but to loud and hard to talk. Overall good place.
Wow! TBH, was actually coming down to eat pizza at Towne house restaurant across the street but for some reason that was closed so came over to Il Forno. Glad we did! Really good pizza. Yazz, our attentive and polite server, was excellent. Great with suggestions, patient and polite. The ambience is really great.
Il Forno a Legna will always hold a special place in our hearts. We hosted our intimate wedding ceremony here, and from start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Juan and Robert went above and beyond to make our BIG day unforgettable — all while working within our budget.
Booking Il Forno a Legna for a wedding
Weddings come up for Il Forno a Legna — confirmed on their own site, so they'll know the rhythm of the day: everyone gets hungry at once after the ceremony, then the oven settles into a steady flow of pies until the dance floor takes over. Two numbers get your quote right. First, the pizza math: caterers typically plan on roughly one 12-inch pizza for every two to three adults, and per-person packages usually already bake that in — just be honest about your headcount, including kids and vendors. Second, the serving rate: a mobile oven cooks pies a couple at a time, so ask how many ovens and cooks they bring at your guest count and how long full service takes — that's the difference between a steady buffet and a hungry line during toasts. If anyone at the table is gluten-free or vegan, say so at the first email so the right dough travels with them.

Corporate events with Il Forno a Legna
Reviews and the caterer's own materials mention corporate events at Il Forno a Legna — office lunches, holiday parties, launches, client appreciation days. For office events, three things are worth settling on the first call: whether they carry the liability insurance your building or venue requires (and can add it as additional insured), how they handle dietary counts — gluten-free and vegan orders multiply fast on an office RSVP — and how invoicing works if your company needs a W-9 and net-30 terms.
