Grande Apizza just tied Zuppardi’s on my list for my favorite pizzas— and that says everything. The dough has that perfect balance: tender but with some old-school bite. Sauce? Straight-up excellent — bright, clean, and clearly made in-house.
In the past I came here as my go-to pie. It was the first Grand on the shoreline. Now that I don't drive I get delivery from the Madison Grand Apizza, but I know in my heart this one is still better. So when I get the opportunity I always stop in for the house margarita
We moved to Illinois and missed good pizza. Back in CT for vacation, we satisfied our fix here with a specialty pizza and a clams casino pizza. Delicious and just what we needed! The service was friendly and patient.
Great pizza! We tried the cheese, veggie, and sausage/pepperoni. Thin with a really good crust. We were in the area for the weekend and ordered take out on the first night, a great choice.
