If you love good pizza with a side of quirk and a cool view, you owe Flakey's a visit. Sit down on your tailgate and eat it fresh right there. Hopefully it's a great weather night and when the train runs through its that much cooler.
I work nights, so of course I'm always hunting for options that are local and open at weird hours. I saw this place the other day and looked it up. There are lots of options for pizza and the truck has several pizza ovens on board.
Called to order for pickup & it was ready right after I arrived. I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with extra cheese & they definitely do NOT skimp on the extra cheese. Perfectly crispy crust with a great chewy, gooey, cheesy center.
Called in an order for delivery. I got a pizza and mozzarella sticks. I was told it would arrive in a little over an hour, and arrived right on time. The pizza was quite good. The mozzarella sticks were okay. This place is certainly worth a try.
