I have been searching for a New Haven style "apizza" pie in Colorado and have to say my first experience did not disappoint. Best way I can describe it is if New York, Neapolitan, and Tavern style pizza had a baby. Thin, Crispy, chewy, charred.
Dang good pizza! I thought it was a smidge expensive, but I'm always happy to help out a small business. The guys in the truck seemed really nice and my veggie pizza was perfectly blackened at the bottom, which isn't for everyone, but I loved it. It won't be a misteak getting a slice from these guys!
Best pizza in the lot at the shows in Denver. Great wood fired pizza, with awesome service. Extra big shout out to Cordo. Make sure you stop and get some if you see them out somewhere. Tie-dye Tony gives it his personal stamp of approval!!!
